Rewards and amounts

Reward types control what workers get paid for each qualified lead. Configure them on /portal/settings → Rewards.

Reward types

• Flat dollar — a fixed bounty per qualified lead (e.g. $250).
• Percentage of placement — a percent of the placement fee (e.g. 5%).

Amounts are entered in whole dollars (not cents). 250 means $250.

Top reward (headline bonus)

The "headline bonus" surfaced in Field Academy Module 5 ("How you get paid") and used in worker-facing copy is picked in this order:

1. The reward you've pinned with the trophy icon (is_top_reward).
2. Otherwise, the highest reward by sort order that the worker's classification is eligible for.

Pin any reward as the top reward by clicking its trophy icon. Only one reward can be pinned at a time.

Reorder

Drag the handle on a reward row to change sort order. Order matters when no reward is pinned as the top reward.

Restrict by classification

Click the eligibility popover on a reward and check the worker classifications that should earn it. Leave all checked to make the reward available to everyone.

Fixing a wrong headline bonus

If /portal/academy shows the wrong amount under "Headline bonus":

• Open /portal/settings → Rewards.
• Pin the correct reward with the trophy icon, or reorder so the intended reward is highest.
• Confirm its eligibility includes the relevant classification(s).
