Field Academy

The Field Academy trains your workers to spot leads. It has two parts:

1. Short online training articles linked from worker-facing SMS.
2. An onboarding text drip sent automatically over the first few weeks.

Configure both on /portal/academy.

Onboarding text delivery

A concise sequence of onboarding texts goes out to each new worker on a fixed cadence (steps fire at days 2, 5, and 12 by default). After the drip ends, ongoing reminders begin based on your /portal/settings SMS Worker reminders cadence (default: Weekly, starting a week after the drip ends).

Customize what workers listen for

The "What to listen for" list (max 5 bullets, up to 80 characters each) is interpolated into Academy training content and onboarding texts. Use it to call out the specific signals your workers should flag (e.g. "new construction site", "hiring sign in window").

Headline bonus in Module 5

Module 5 ("How you get paid") pulls the headline dollar amount from your top reward. If it shows the wrong value, see Rewards and amounts and use the "Manage rewards" link on the Academy page.
