Adding and onboarding workers

From /portal/workers you have three ways to bring a worker on.

1. Add worker (single, by phone)

  1. Click Add worker, enter name + mobile number in E.164 format (e.g. +14155551234).
  2. The dialog includes a Send welcome text now checkbox (on by default) with an editable message template. Tokens {worker_name} and {company_name} are auto-filled.
  3. On save, the worker is created and (if checked) immediately texted from (571) 290-2966 with your welcome message.

2. Import CSV (bulk, by phone)

  1. Click Import CSV. Required columns: name,phone.
  2. Same welcome-text checkbox + editable template, applied to every imported worker.
  3. A toast confirms how many were imported and how many texts went out.

3. Invite by email (self-serve signup)

  1. Click Invite by email, paste one or more email addresses.
  2. Each person gets a branded email with a link to /invite/<token> where they fill in their name and mobile number.
  3. When they complete the form they become a worker and land on their private dashboard at /w/<token>.
  4. Track open invitations under the Invitations tab — resend or revoke from there.

After they're added

Tell every new worker to:

  • Save (571) 290-2966 as a contact called Earshot.
  • Text LEAD once to confirm it works.

Updating a worker

On /portal/workers, click the worker row to edit their name or phone number, or to open their dashboard in a new tab. If they have leads, click the Leads count to see just their leads.
